ADA — Services for Clair Mae Abbott, 60, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Wolf will officiate.

LOE BROWN

NOBLE — Services for Loe Luella Carroll Brown, 90, Noble, formerly of Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Tom Amos officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at a Noble nursing home. She was born Aug. 25, 1919, at Ardmore to Andrew Beldon and Laney Cecil Trimmer Carroll.

She attended Plainview schools near Ardmore.

She married Calvin Howard “Buck” Brown on July 16, 1938, at Marietta. He died Aug. 4, 1985, in Ada.

Mrs. Brown owned and operated Brown’s Day Care Center in Ada for more than 30 years. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Ada.

Survivors include two daughters, Saundra Kaye Orebaugh and husband Frank, Ardmore and Sheila Marie Curry, Norman; two sons, Clelie Rodney Brown and wife Lynda, Ada, and Michael Oodie Brown and wife Janelle, Ada; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Jean Estes on Nov. 28, 1994, her parents, and brothers Bernice, Aubrey, Cloyd and Beldon Carroll and a sister, Ivan Hall.

Bearers will be Tony Estes, Allan Orebaugh, Ron Brown, Austin Curry, Tyler Curry and Brady Curry.

JANELLE BROWN

ADA — Services for Anita Janelle Brown, 57, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1952, at Dumas, Texas, to Nolon Neal and Anita Maxcine Milford Wallace.

She attended and graduated from Fordyce High School in Fordyce, Ark.

She married Michael O. Brown on Feb. 22, 1975, in Ada.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a dental assistant and a member of Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Michael O. Brown, of the home; three daughters, Lauren Krehbiel and husband Joe, Ada, Jennifer Wilmot and husband Robby, Maysville, and Kristen Brown and Judd Morse, Bellingham, Wash.; two brothers, Milford Wallace and wife Brenda, Pine Bluff, Ark., and Duane Wallace and wife Vicky, Kingsland, Ark.; her mother, Anita Maxcine Wallace, Pine Bluff, Ark.; a brother-in-law, Rodney Brown and wife Lynda, Stonewall; two sisters-in-law, Sheila Curry, Norman, and Saundra Orebaugh and husband Frank, Ardmore; her grandchildren, Joselyn and Liam Krehbiel, Ada, and Hunter and Leslie Wilmot, Maysville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nolon Neal Wallace, a brother, Nolon Neal Wallace Jr., and her mother-in-law, Loe Brown.

Bearers will be Judd Morse, Tom Schultz, Rodney Brown, Ernie Dunlap, Joe Krehbiel and Robby Wilmot.

SULPHUR — Services for Bill V. Uhles, 84, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at First Baptist Church. Burial follows at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mr. Uhles died Dec. 11, 2009, at Sulphur.
