RUBY YOUNT
ALLEN-Services for Ruby May Kidwell Yount, 100, Allen, are 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Allen, the Rev. Chad Kaminski will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen cemetery. Family and friends may call at Allen Chapel from 3 p.m Sunday until service time.
Mrs. Yount died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at an Allen nursing home. She was born Oct. 28, 1909 at Allen to Thomas Kanan and Mary Claudia Phillips Kidwell. She lived in the Allen area all her life and graduated from Allen High School.
She was preceded in death by husbands, C. M. Yount and Bill Daugherty. Mrs. Yount was employed with P.S.O. and the telephone company and later worked for A. K. Kimbrough Insurance and Tag Agency in Allen for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Allen and member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Sheila Matthews and husband Gary, Francis, Debbie Cundiff and husband Kenny, Allen, and Paula Colbert and husband Larry, Allen; great grandchildren, Sheryl Goodson and husband Jack, John Cundiff and wife Lisa, Jodi Watkins and husband Jason, Kanan Matthews and wife Tasha, Adam Colbert, Justin Colbert and wife Randi, Chad Colbert, Chad Goodson and wife Keisha and Cole Goodson; great great grandchildren, Kinlee Cundiff, Jaycee Watkins, Kamlyn Cundiff, Lilly Matthews, Bodrey Goodson, Brogan and Chole Goodson, Gus Matthews, Jake Matthews, and Jax Watkins; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Buddy Yount, and brothers and sisters, Arthur Kidwell, Bea Cook, Clara Saffarans, Austin Kidwell, Axie Call, George Kidwell, and Gladstone Kidwell.
Bearers will be John Cundiff, Kanan Matthews, Adam Colbert, Justin Colbert, Chad Colbert, Chad Goodson and Cole Goodson. Honorary bearers will be Jearl Knighten, H. C. Spain, Kerry Caldwell, Edd Wendle, Joe Shires, Bill Griffin, Benny Prentice, Donny Johnson and Wayne Bullard.

BILLY JONES
ADA-Graveside services for Billy Dwain Jones, 50, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Rosedale Cemetery, the Rev. James Miller officiating. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Jones died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1959, in Ada to Henry Doil “Sunny” and Juanita McDonald Jones. He attended Stonewall High School. He served in the National Guard and the U. S. Army and was a cross-country truck driver for Gouker Trucking in Shawnee. He was of the Baptist faith.
He married Carla Kay Stringfellow on June 20, 1978, in Tennessee.
Survivors include his wife, Carla, of the home; mother, Juanita Jones, Ada; three daughters, Chrystal Powell and husband Doug, Ada; Jennifer Jones, Ada; and Lacy Winton and husband Landon, Ada; two sons, Bradley Jones and wife Charity, Ada; and Eric Jones, Ada; six grandchildren, Dylan Powell, Chelsea Powell, Cierra Powell, Heather Manuel, Jamie Hillman and Kaelyn Cox, all of Ada; two brothers, Doyle “Punk” Jones and wife Terry, Ada; Darrell Jones and wife Peggy, London, Ark.; and two sisters, Kathy Anderson and husband Rocky, Ada; and Denise Zimmerman and husband Mike, Ada.
Bearers are Doug Powell, Landon Winton, Brandon Miller, Justin Miller, Robert Tatum and Bill Lemons. Honorary bearers are Dylan Powell, Ronnie Miller, Thomas Martin, Logan Martin, Mike Jones, Brett Stringfellow, Chris Jones, Daniel Jones, Derrick Tatum and Davin Tatum.
Family visitation will be at the American Legion Building, 3529 North Broadway, from 11 a.m. until service time.

WANDA TORAL
MIDWEST CITY-Graveside services for Wanda Shirley Toral, 69, Midwest City, formerly of Ada are 2 p.m. Monday at Lightning Ridge Cemetery, the Rev. James Fellers will officiate.
Mrs. Toral died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at a Midwest City nursing home. She was born August 24, 1940 at Roff, Oklahoma to James S. “Buck” and Audra Roberts Peterson. She attended Glenwood elementary school in Ada and Latta Jr. High School. She lived most of her younger life in Ada.
Mrs. Toral was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Michael Fields, Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Rochelle Allen, Oklahoma City; grandsons, Wyatt Fields and Brendon Fields; granddaughters, Brittney Judge and Naomi Judge; two brothers, Russell Peterson, Roff and Jimmy Peterson, Kearns, Texas; six sisters, Pat Johnson, Midwest City, Betty June Wood, Shawnee, Marita Barton, Vernon, Texas, Katie Latimer, Midwest City, Sheila Fix, Moore, and Shelly Brown, Moore; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

DR. JAMES F. HOHL
BRYAN, Texas-Services for Dr. James F. Hohl, 90, Bryan, Texas, formerly of Ada are 1 p.m. Monday at Rollow Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, Dr. George Warren will officiate.
Dr. Hohl died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 in Bryan, Texas. He was born January 17, 1919 at Sand Springs, Okla. to Leonard and Florence Fitton Hohl.
He married Betty Katherine Chowning on June 26, 1943. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2002. Dr. Hohl and his family moved to Ada in 1954 where he was an internist at the Sugg Clinic for many years. He was a longtime active member of First United Methodist Church where he and his wife were active in Sunday school and the Golden Agers group. Dr. Hohl was an original board member of Citizen’s Bank and served from 1967 until 2006. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a regimental surgeon.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Hohl, Houston, Texas and Mary Hohl and husband Timothy Manning, College Station, Texas; one son, James Hohl and wife Jeannie Monte, New York City, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Evan Manning and Emily Manning.

ADA — Funeral services for Elisa Rachalle Armstrong , 35 of Ft. Smith, Arkansas are pending with Smith-Phillips Funeral Home. She died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, in Ft. Smith, Ark.

COALGATE — Services for Anna Edity (Cox) Stark, 90, are 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7., at Brown’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Coalgate Cemetery. Ms. Stark died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009.
