MEGAN HARROD

SASAKWA — Graveside services for Megan Danielle Harrod, 21, Sasakwa, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mission Hill Cemetery near Sasakwa. April Coats will officiate.

Ms. Harrod died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at Glenpool. She was born Sept. 2, 1987, in Ada.

She graduated from Byng High School in 2005 and graduated from OSU-Okmulgee Culinary Arts school in 2008. She had lived in Okmulgee for the past three years.

Survivors include her parents, Donnie and Leslie Alford, Sasakwa; one sister, Holly Harrod, Sasakwa; one brother, Miles Alford, Sasakwa; grandparents, Linda and Jack Grubbs, Billings and Ervina “Tootles” Alford, Ada; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Irby Smith and grandfather, Dunnie Alford.

Bearers will be Wesley Harrod, Justin Henderson, Miles Alford, Danny Alford, Chris Alford and Kirby Delozier.

AUDETTE BARNES

SULPHUR — Services for Audette Barnes, 76, Sulphur, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home Chapel, chaplain Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial follows at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnes died Aug. 16, 2009, at Sulphur. She was born May 22, 1933, at Enville, Okla., to P.G. and Cleo Lemons Luna.

She lived most of her life in Sulphur and attended Sulphur schools. She worked at Otasco for 17 years and Chickasaw Nation for 20 years as Chickasaw Hotel desk clerk and vault clerk for Cash Springs Gaming Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

She married Herbert Clay Barnes on March 13, 1950, at Sulphur.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert Barnes, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann Scott and John of Tulsa; a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Gene Barnes and Sherry of Ada; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Perry Luna and Lilla and Marlin Luna and Gayle, all of Sulphur; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Allen Ray Barnes.

Bearers are John Scott, Paul Luna, Stanley Barnes, Marlin Luna, Michael Barnes and Perry Luna.

Honorary bearers are staff members at Cash Springs Gaming Center.

WYNNEWOOD — Services for C.B. Kinard Jr., 53, were Monday at Wynnewood United Pentecostal Church. Burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood.

Mr. Kinard died Aug. 14, 2009, at Pauls Valley.

COALGATE — Services for Raymond Leland Smith, 72, Coalgate, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel, Coalgate. Burial follows at Coalgate Cemetery.

Mr. Smith died Aug. 16, 2009, at Oklahoma City.

SULPHUR — Services for Jerry VanOrden, 76, Davis, were Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery, Sulphur. He died Aug. 15, 2009, at Davis.
