Paint your own horse
Paint Your Barnes Ranch held their second annual Horse Show at the Barnes’ indoor arena just south of Ada. Eight students competed in Showmanship, Walk, Trot, Lope, Horsemanship, Trail and Barrels. Their ages range from as young as seven years, up to thirteen years of age. Justin Terrell, from Prague, Oklahoma, was the judge and Wiley Barnes, was the Ring Steward. Brianna Iorga was the overall winner of the 9 and under age group, and Sage Counts was the overall winner of the 10 and over. “The students have worked hard all year to achieve their goals in riding and they are all so talented”, stated Mary Ruth Barnes, riding instructor.Those pictured in the winner’s circle of the horse show are front row from left: Brianna Iorga, Emily Ford, Brianna DeAngelis, Kory Cowger and back row from left: Angelia Postoak, Chandler Floyd, Mary Ruth Barnes, instructor, and Sage Counts.
