Man hurt in wreck
Hughes County — A Holdenville man was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Tony Lemay said the wreck occurred on Spaulding Road about one mile south of Oak Ridge Road just after 2 p.m.
Lemay said 37-year-old Robert Martin was driving a 2002 Honda Motorcycle north when he swerved to miss another vehicle going south.
He ran off the road to the right and was thrown from the bike. He was taken by Hughes County EMS to Holdenville General Hospital and admitted with head and other multiple injuries.
Lemay listed Martin as stable and said he was not wearing a helmet.
