Letters to the Editor, July 1, 2007
Dear Editor,
I made three trips to Rosedale Cemetery this past weekend: one to place flowers at my loved ones graves, one for my niece’s burial and another to pick up the flowers that had been placed on the ground.
I want to thank the veterans that took the time and energy to place those beautiful American flags by each veteran’s service mark. I always appreciate seeing one by my late husband’s — Bill Blackburn, a World War II veteran.
I also want to give a big “thank you” to Jo Eubanks, cemetery director, who has always been so helpful to me when I am searching for a certain person’s head stone.
Alberta Blackburn

Letters to the Editor
Though on the surface it sounds forgiving to offer Ada’s City Manager David Hathcoat a second chance, I wonder how city council’s handling of this issue is perceived by other city employees.
Do they wonder if they would be treated with the same courtesy under similar circumstances?
If a sanitation worker clocked in to the job and headed to the casino, would the city have been as understanding? - Letters to the Editor, 2-14-10
