New wedding chapel to have open house
By Randy Mitchell

DAVIS — A new wedding chapel in Davis is having an open house Sunday and inviting everyone to come and check it out.
Arbuckle Wedding Chapel is the brainchild of Joan Bratcher , who owns the business along with her husband Bob.
“I have wanted to do this for years,” Joan said. “I had a good job that I was comfortable in and it was difficult to take the plunge into something different, but I finally decided if I didn’t do it right now I would never do it.”
She said the 6,200 square foot facility is elegantly appointed with graceful columns, flowers, staircase and crystal chandeliers.
The reception center has linen covered guest tables, lace covered serving tables, a dance floor, a high-quality sound system, 73-inch screen TV for bride/groom DVD display and table decorations.
“We are very proud of our facility and hope everyone will come see it and have a piece of wedding cake,” Bratcher said. “This is a dream turned into reality for me!”
Bratcher said she decided to build in Davis because the area is booming and there is plenty of tourism and gorgeous views. They are prepared for just about every situation.
“We’ll have weddings for just about any budget,” Joan said. “The packages include just about everything the wedding party would need. We hope to serve young ladies from all around the area, Ada included.”
Bratcher said the chapel is conveniently located at Exit 55 just off Interstate 35 and is visible from the interstate.
“Arbuckle Wedding Chapel is a full-service wedding facility,” Joan Bratcher said. “We offer the minister or officiant, catering, flowers, music, photographer, videographer, tuxedo rental, wedding cake, invitations, DJ, and much more.”
