• Meetings of Fortnightly Study Club takes place on Thursday. Anyone interested in learning more about Modern Book, Music, Progressive Drama or Twenty-first Century departments may phone Joann at 580-436-4494.

• Board of Directors for Tri-County Indian Nations Community Development Corporation meets at 9 a.m. at Tri-County Indian Nations CDC, 1230 E. Arlington, Ada. The meeting is open to the public. For more information, phone Amy Elliott at 580-310-9300.

• Homer Elementary School fundraiser delivery will be at Homer Blue Gym from 12-5:30 p.m. For more information, phone 580-559-0200.

• Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders support group meets at 1:30 p.m. in the Social Services Center auditorium, 1630 E. Beverly. The meeting is open to the public. For more information, phone Sidney Pepper at 332-0832.

• Ada Chickasaw Senior Citizens hosts an Indian taco sale from 4-7 p.m. at the senior site, 1005 Chamber Loop. Dr. John Garber will auction pies and cakes at 5:30 p.m. Cost of the meal, including taco, drink and dessert, is $6. Red Barn Band will entertain. • Latta School’s Indian Education Parent Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. in Room 111 in the Latta Junior High School. Business meetings will be conducted for JOM and Title VII programs. Impact Aid program will be reviewed. The meeting is open to parents of JOM and Title VII students.

• The local Alcoholics Anonymous group meets Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, 301 E. Kings Rd. For more information, phone Daniel G. at (580) 332-3503.

• Pat Taylor Memorial Parade of Lights takes place at 7 p.m. on Ada’s Main Street.

• Lupus Support Group meets at 7 p.m. at Main street Church of Christ, 408 E. Main Street, Davis.

• Pontotoc County Alcoholics Anonymous group meets at 8 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 820 Stadium Drive, Ada. Open meeting.

• Salvation Army Silver Tea will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the historic home of Bart and Shannon Reed at 211 W. Kings Road. A shuttle will be provided from the Presbyterian Church to the Reed’s home.
