People who protect, serve and educate, such as Ada police officers Jeremy Farmer (left) and Steve Watkins, will be recognized for their service to their communities Saturday, Oct. 17, during the football game between East Central University and Texas A&M University-Commerce at ECU’s Norris Field. Veterans, the military, law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel, as well as teachers from more than a dozen counties, are being invited to the 2 p.m. game and will be admitted free if they wear their uniform or present an ID.
