U.S. Army Spc. Michael Carter, right, and Staff Sgt. John Plunkett, members of Oklahoma's 45 Infantry Brigade Combat Team are currently deployed to South Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Carter and Plunkett are cousins and take a few minutes to catch up on hometown news. Carter is from Smith Center and Plunkett is the high school principal at Coalgate.
