Ada Schools announces enrollment

ADA - It’s “One Place – One Time” again for all Ada City Schools sites with enrollment Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Glenwood, Hayes, Washington and Willard grade centers and Ada Junior High will enroll at the Ada Cougar Activity Center on the AHS campus. The high school will enroll in the school student center.
Parents of current and new Ada High and Ada Junior High students will need to enroll their students. This will consist of completing forms necessary to start the school year. Parents must make contact in order for students to receive a schedule on orientation day.
All parents may take advantage of enrollment forms available to download and complete at their convenience to bring on enrollment day. Forms can be located at www.adapss.com.
New students must bring the following to enrollment: Immunization Record, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Medicaid Number and CDIB (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood) Card.
Students may purchase an All-Sport I.D. Season Ticket for $50. Replacement cost will be $10. Note: These season tickets will not be valid for tournament or playoff games.
All grade centers will be open for parents and children to visit their school, meet their teachers, join Parent/Teacher Organizations, and bring supplies to their new rooms on Friday, Aug. 14, 2-6:30 p.m..
AJH and AHS students will have required student orientation at their respective sites on Friday, Aug. 14.
At AJH the times are, 7th Grade 8 a.m; 8th, 9:30 a.m.; and 9th, 11 a.m.
AHS times are 10th, 8:30 a.m.; 11th, 10 a.m.; and 12th, 11:30 a.m.
Classes begin for all schools on Monday, Aug. 17. School times are, Glenwood, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; Hayes, Washington, Willard grade centers, 8:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; AJH, 8:30 a.m.-2:55 p.m.; and AHS, 8 a.m.-2:50 p.m.
Classes, bus routes, SEAS programs and cafeteria service begin at all sites on Monday, Aug. 17.

A total of 21 new teachers will greet the students returning to Ada City Schools on Aug. 17. Seven will be at Ada High, Ada Junior High or the Alternative Academy.
